Ajmal Hussain won a well deserved fielder of the year for 2018.
Hussain’s standards were exceedingly high throughout the season, taking numerous catches and saving valuable runs for his team.
One stand-out moment, amongst many, was his outrageous one-handed caught and bowled against Old Cholmeleians II’s, which was a key moment in Park going on to win that game.
Shafaat Hussain once again produced a fine season for Greenwood Park, collecting Batsman and Sunday Player of the Year.
Hussain notched 553 runs across both days and took an excellent 41 wickets.
The all-rounder was a crucial part of Greenwood’s league title success and was instrumental in Park’s debut year in the Chess Valley league on Sunday’s.
Arslan Khan took a well deserved Player of the Year award after fantastic season for Greenwood Park.
The all-rounder struck a magnificent 518 runs and took an astonishing 50 wickets as Park celebrated league success on both Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
We will be hosting our yearly Presidents Day on Sunday 22nd July this year.
We will have the usual game of cricket, along with the BBQ, bar and raffle prizes.
