Greenwood Park smashed 302-6 in 50 overs as they beat Old Cholmeleians II’s by 188 runs.
Arslan Khan top scored for Park with a swashbuckling 75* as the all-rounder dismantled the visitors attack and propelled his side to a massive total.
It was then over to Ajmal Hussain with the ball who took a fantastic 6-30 from ten overs as Greenwood blew away their opposition inside just 32 overs for only 114 runs.
Having lost the toss Park were put into bat and lost an early wicket when Stuart Dempsey fell for 0.
Ed Gray and Chris Kent then put on 38 before the former was tightly run-out for 26, leaving Greenwood 47-2 from nine overs.
However Gray’s dismissal brought Rakib Ali to the crease and both he and Kent went about dominating the Old Cholm’s bowling outfit.
The pair put on a hugely impressive 107 before Ali (62) was controversially given lbw and Kent unluckily run-out for 65.
Shafaat Hussain contributed a quick 35, including eight fours, before Khan stole the show.
The number six accelerated Park’s innings perfectly, scoring ten boundaries – featuring one excellently timed hook stroke for six – as he took his team past 300 for the first time this year.
It was then over to Ajmal Hussain who claimed his first five-wicket haul for the club.
The opening bowling delivered a superb spell of quick bowling, accounting for the entire top five of the opposition order.
Hussain also collected one further dismissal as he all but secured the 30 points for Park.
There was time however for Shafaat Hussain to get two wickets of his own, before man of the match Khan claimed the final two dismissals as Greenwood ran riot and secured a huge 188 run win.
